Joseph Wallace is a BAFTA Cymru nominated animation director, writer and producer. His award-winning work spans short films, music videos, commercials and sequences for feature films and television. He has written and directed more than a dozen short films since 2007 which have gained international acclaim and screened at festivals around the world as well as receiving Vimeo Staff Picks. Described as ‘one of the UK’s most extraordinary stop-motion directors’ by London International Animation Festival, his work has been praised for its cinematic quality and unique aesthetic.

Candy Guard established her reputation for comic observation and witty dialogue with 13 award-winning animated shorts for Channel 4 and the BBC, including ‘Alternative Fringe’ about an unfortunate trip to the hairdressers, and ‘Fatty Issues’ about a 1-day diet. She drew a long-running strip cartoon in the Observer magazine, and created the hit Channel 4 animated situation comedy, ‘Pond Life’. It was the only animation ever to be nominated in the Best Situation Comedy category at the Writers' Guild Awards. Candy has also created advertising campaigns, and is a published novelist and children’s book author.

Vivien Halas has enjoyed a successful career as a graphic designer, working for a number of top design groups and agencies in London and Paris, as well as founding two design companies of her own. At her father’s request she returned from Paris to London in 1995, to take over running Halas and Batchelor and organise its film archive.

She is co-author of Halas & Batchelor, an animated history 2006 and A Moving Image, Joy Batchelor 1914-91, Artist, Writer and Animator 2014. She has contributed to numerous animation and design publications worldwide and served on many juries at international animation film festivals.
